Golan Withdraws from British Open

Spain’s World No.24 Borja Golan has been forced to withdraw from the upcoming Allam British Open due to an ACL injury in his right knee sustained at the European teams.

The 35-year-old is expected to have surgery with his recovery period expected to be six months. The PSA and Allam British Open wish him well in his recovery.

As a result there has been a change to the men’s first round draw with France’s World No.27 Mathieu Castagnet moving into the main draw and will face a qualifier in round one.
