Raphael Kandra and Saurav Ghosal in action in Qatar

Quartet Withdraw from Men’s CIB Black Ball Open

India’s Saurav Ghosal, Germany’s Raphael Kandra, France’s Mathieu Castagnet and Qatar's Abdulla Mohd Al Tamimi have all withdrawn from the upcoming men’s CIB Black Ball Open.

Both Ghosal and Castagnet have been forced to pull out due to injury, while Kandra withdraws because of illness. Al Tamimi misses out due to travel issues.

Following their withdrawals, England’s Nathan Lake, Egypt’s Youssef Ibrahim, Victor Crouin and Mahesh Mangaonkar all come into the draw.

Lake will face France’s Gregoire Marche in round one, while Ibrahim takes on former World No.1 James Willstrop and Crouin faces New Zealand’s World No.4 Paul Coll on the opening day of action. Meanwhile, Mangaonkar will go up against World No.14 Mostafa Asal.
