Life Time City Center Open: Khan Claims Victory In Houston

Shahjahan Khan took the spoils at the Life Time City Center Men’s Open Presented By NH Specialists this week, after some great performances in Houston.

The event was limited to players residing in the United States, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but the draw had an international feel, with eight countries represented.

However, the final came down to two Americans, as top seed and World No.52 Shahjahan Khan, took on the No.4 seed, Spencer Lovejoy. The World No.99 had taken out England’s Lyell Fuller to reach the final.

It was Khan that took the title though, and with it, reclaimed the US No.1 spot in the process for the month of March, thanks to a straight games victory over his compatriot.

The American now has five PSA titles to his name, and he will be aiming to break into the top 50 in the World Rankings at the next opportunity.
