Cardenas has set up a semi-final clash with No.2 seed Youssef Soliman. Soliman confidently defeated USA’s Shahjahan Khan 3-0 to advance. The pair had never met before in the PSA World Tour but it was Soliman who proved to be too strong for his opponent.
