Asim Khan has cemented himself as Pakistan’s No.2 in recent years, and he has four titles to his name.
The Pakistani made his debut on the Tour in 2012, but had to wait three years before he made his first final, which came at the Open International Niort Venise Verte. A string of last eight results came in 2016, along with another runners-up finish, at the Iran Squash Federation Kish Persian Gulf.
He took his first victory on Tour in Iran a year later, as he won the I.R.Iran Navy Squash Open after beating Martin Svec in the final. The Pakistani then won the first two events on the Malaysian Squash Tour to take his tally to three wins.
Khan then had a string of quarter-final finishes over the course of 2018, along with a semi-final result at the 13th CNS International Squash Championship. He grabbed another win in 2019, winning on home soil on the Pakistan Squash Circuit.
That started off a run of ten quarter-final appearances in his last 12 events, including two runner-up finishes. Those both came on home soil at the BISL International Squash Championship and the BISL 4 Southern Punjab International Squash Tournament, his first appearance of 2021.
