Hailing from Hong Kong, Liu Tsz-Ling has amassed a creditable number of Tour titles since she made her debut in 2008.
She broke her Tour title duck in 2011 when she rose to claim the North Shore Open in Australia. Tsz-Ling followed that up a year later with success at the City of Perth International Challenge and she starred at the Malaysian Squash Tour 7th Leg in 2013.
She again found success on the Malaysian Tour in April 2014 which contributed to her elevation into the world's top 40 two months later. It was apt after her success in Malaysia that her fifth Tour crown would come on the 2015 iteration of the Malaysian Tour and she finished the 2014/15 season in fine form, taking home the South Australian Open with a win over home-girl Sarah Cardwell in the final.
Tsz-Ling won the JSW Indian Squash Circuit Chennai in 2015 after beating England’s Millie Tomlinson over five games. She backed this up the following year with a title win at the 3rd Bahria Town International Women’s Squash Championship, beating Amina Yousry over four games in the final.
She then broke into the world’s top 30 for the first time in 2016. Liu reached the quarter finals of the Otter International JSW ISC that year, before securing her 11th PSA Tour title, by winning the Victorian Open in 2017. A week later, she finished runner-up to Ho Tze-Lok at the City of Greater Bendigo international.
2018 was a barren year for Liu, whose best result came at the Malaysian Squash Tour’s fourth event, where she made the semi finals. She also made quarter finals at the Malaysian Open and the Pakistan Open. She reached the final of her second tournament in 2019, but she lost out to Lisa Aitken in the final of the CSC Delaware Open.
She reached the last 16 of the Macau Open, before making the quarter-finals of the HKFC PSA International Squash Open on home soil. Tsz-Ling also made it into the second round of the Platinum level Windy City Open presented by the Walter Family in February 2020.
