Hana Ramadan has seen her World Ranking go from strength-to-strength after she joined the PSA World Tour in 2011.
The Egyptian lifted her first title in 2015 at the Brqthru Pharco Alexandria Open where she defeated Nouran El Torky over four games in the final to lift her maiden PSA World Tour title.
Ramadan then backed this up with victory at the Bendigo International in 2016 where she defeated Australia’s Jessica Turnbull over four games. On her way to the final, Ramadan caused the shock of the tournament at the quarter-final stage with her surprise win over pre-tournament favourite Millie Tomlinson. She also staged a superb comeback from two games down in her semi-final encounter with compatriot El Torky before holding her nerve in the final to secure her second PSA World Tour crown.
Later that year, Ramadan secured her third title when she beat Rachel Chadwick over four games in the final of the Open International de Squash de Nantes after not dropping a game in the previous rounds on her way to title victory. She broke into the world’s top 50 for the first time in her career at the end of 2016.
The Egyptian then won the DaLian Squash Association China Squash Grand Prix in 2017, along with reaching the final of both the Tournament of Pyramides and the Australian Open a year later.
After suffering a drop in form, and ranking, Ramadan has managed to fight her way back into the top 50 in the World Rankings, thanks to a victory on the HCL SRFI Indian Tour, winning in Mumbai, along with several other last four appearances, including at the Racquet Club Pro-Series and the E.M. Noll Classic in 2020.
